Kristallnacht 80th Anniversary: We Honor and Remember
A Day Trip to the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust (LAMOTH)

Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 8am-5:30pm
Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust (LAMOTH)

LAMOTH is the oldest Survivor-founded Holocaust museum in the US. Its mission is to commemorate and educate so that no one will ever forget the atrocities of the Holocaust. This November marks 80 years since Kristallnacht, the event that is deemed the "beginning" of the destruction of Jewish life and lives in Europe. The purpose of our visit is to continue to pay our respects to those who perished, and to keep alive the lessons learned through this devastating time in Jewish history.

In 2010, LAMOTH opened the doors to its new and award-winning building, designed by acclaimed architect Hagy Belzberg, in Pan Pacific Park. We will be transported to the Museum in a comfortable bus (with a toilet), and will be taken on a docent led 75 minute tour. We will then take a short drive to well-known Canter's Deli, which serves traditional deli cuisine, for lunch, returning to San Diego about 5pm. Payment includes transportation and donation to LAMOTH. Lunch is on your own.

Price: $90; JCC Member Price: $75 (Includes bus, entrance to museum, and docent tour; lunch on your own)
