In the 1550s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom struggle to escape the shadow of "The Bard." When a soothsayer predicts that theatre’s future involves singing, dancing, and acting together, they aim to write the first musical. As opening night approaches, they discover that true success means being true to themselves, amidst the excitement and scandal.
